Detailed Description of Good and / or Services
Amdoor (Pty) Ltd is a business in the manufacturing industry that markets doors, windows and related products.
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within two days and delivery will be confirmed by way of booking transport waybill number. Approximate time to delivery will be indicated on product items on this website.
Return and Refunds prior to Delivery Policy
The provision of goods and services by Amdoor (Pty) Ltd is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Amdoor (Pty) Ltd will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10% administration fee. If order placed is a non-standard size and production on order has begun, it will be too late to cancel the order.
Amdoor (Pty) Ltd shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment Options Accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, Master Card credit cards or by bank transfer into the Amdoor (Pty) Ltd bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Credit Card Acquiring and Security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Amdoor (Pty) Ltd by Paygate who are the approved payment gateway for Nedbank. This site is secured by a full site SSL certificate. No bank details are kept on this website, but with the payment gateway.
Customer Details Separate from Card Details
Customer details will be stored by Amdoor (Pty) Ltd separately from card details which are kept with the payment gateway.
Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is ZAR (South African Rand).
Amdoor (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer services and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of Domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Amdoor (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, [#DOMICILIUM CITANDI#].

Disclaimer of liability

Use of this website is permitted on the basis that Amdoor will not be responsible for in the event of any loss, liability, damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered by the customer (including Amdoor’s negligence) through the use of this website and the material contained or referred to in it.
Full payment is required when an order is placed by a customer. Despatch will happen once payment has cleared with the bank. In the case where payment does not clear, Amdoor has a right to cancel the order completely.
Claims and Refunds
On placing of an order by a customer, the order being confirmed by Amdoor and then dispatched the customer will not be able to return the products unless they are damaged in transport. The customer needs to ensure that the goods ordered, the sizes and quantities are correct.
Amdoor confirms that all goods sold are in good order following a thorough inspection prior to despatch. Should goods be received in a damaged condition, this must be clearly marked on the delivery note or waybill. Details of damage must then be communicated to Amdoor immediately. Claims for damage in transit will not be considered unless the delivery note or waybill have been endorsed detailing the damages and that Amdoor has been notified within 24 hours of receiving the damaged goods.
Amdoor offers a one-year guarantee from date of purchase on all items sold where product is proven to be defective as a result of faulty materials or workmanship. Amdoor undertakes to have the defective product repaired or replaced in the raw subject to the following conditions.
1) The customer must produce a proof of purchase from Amdoor for the product in question.
2) The product has been used for its designed purpose only.
3) The product has been installed, maintained and used in accordance with our Installation, treatment and care recommendations.
4) Following repair or replacement of the product the guarantee for the repaired or new product shall only be valid for the unexpired period of the original guarantee.
5) Wooden products painted in dark colours will suffer excessive heat build-up will not be covered by this guarantee.
6) Excessive trimming of products will affect the structure and thereby negate the guarantee.
7) This guarantee shall not cover products that have been misused, damaged in accidents, wear and tear or modification done by any person other than Amdoor.
8) In no case shall the Amdoor liability exceed the invoiced price of the product.
9) In no event shall Amdoor be liable to the customer for any loss of profits, indirect loss or any damage.
10) If during the guarantee period, the product has been dismantled or modified by a person not authorized by Amdoor the product will no longer be covered by the guarantee.
